06/10 - Brandon G worked on my car and did a
fantastic quick job. Everyone at Platt's was
so personable and nice. They changed and
aligned all my tires quickly and
efficiently. Such a pleasure to go there!

05/10 - Took me right in no appointment
very quick and easy put everything back in
its place after and reinstalling spare tire.
Reasonable price good quality work.
03/10 - Overall this is a good shop with
a considerate staff where they do quality
work. I was pleased. That aside when I
dropped off my vehicle I asked specifically
for a brake fluid service to be done. Flush
the fluid refill bleed top off. When I
arrived to pick up the vehicle I noticed on
the invoice that there was no charge for
brake fluid service. Turns out they "forgot"
to do it but suggested I make another
appointment and come back. No real apology
or offer of a discount on my next service
and no explanation as to why they didn't do
it to begin with. So excellent work when
they actually do it. I feel like you really
need to be sure that they are clear on what
you want done and the time frame you need it
done in. Still I would and have recommended
this shop to others. Will continue to do so.
12/09 - Platts
was great!! I would recommend them to anyone
that is in the area. I will definitely use them
for all of my Tire Rack orders in the future!!
10/09 - Ed is extremely courteous,
knowledgeable and practices amazing customer
service. His employees are highly-skilled,
trained and are professional courteous as well.
My tires were mounted onto brand new wheels and
there wasn't a single scratch at all. Their
mounting equipment is touch less. Absolutely
plan to do business with Platt's Performance
Plus again. Highly recommended.
09/09 - Going to Platts was a
refreshing experience. Ed was easy to deal with
and his technicians took the time to do the job
right without rushing. Unlike the typical chain
repair shops and dealerships. Eds staff was
knowledgeable and methodical and got the job
done right the first time. Ill be visiting his
shop in the future for sure....

installation and vehicle service. Very courteous
staff. Made to feel like my business was
appreciated and high regards for relationship
with Tire Rack. This was EASY!!

day appointment (even though I originally

and addressed all of my cars issues expertly.

knowledgeable and passionate car guy. The shop
is plain and very unobtrusive - I'd driven past
any number of times and never even noticed it.
No neon no "pimp your ride" showroom. Plain
quality service from a guy who knows his stuff.
05/09 - I picked Platt's Performance Plus
from the Tire Rack recommended installer site. I
had four new tires installed and an oil change
performed. They were a pleasure to work with and
did an outstanding job. I would definitely use
them again.
02/09 - I have used Ed for many tire
installations and vehicle repairs and he is one
of the best in his industry.
01/09 - Eds crew balanced and mounted my
4 19" Michelin PS2s I bought from Tire Rack and
did the alignment on my 2006 BMW M5 with no
problem at all. He was very polite and
courteous. He even gave me a ride home. Great
job Ed...I highly recommend Platts Performance
Plus in Jamesburg NJ.
12/08 - Excellent service he did other
work for me also.
11/08 - I was nervous at first having a
non GM mechanic work on my VET. I have never
been so pleased with the professional service
that I experienced with this shop. Thanks Again.
I will be ordering two more tires for my
corvette very soon and I will use the same
installer.
11/08 - Easy going... Very nice customer
service. Good guy all around. Is knowledgeable
and easy to work with. Does a thorough job in
installation and post work inspection to ensure
job is done well. Also does a courteous
inspection to provide you an update on how your
vehicle is performing. Great job overall. Expect
a repeat customer.
11/08 - I was skeptical when ordering
from a website but I must say that the
experience was terrific. The tires were shipped
quickly and directly to Ed. Ed called ME to
schedule the appointment (which I thought was a
big plus) and was able to get my SUV in quickly.
Ed laid out all of the costs and possible costs
(i.e. alignment which was about $80). I watched
Ed interact with several customers and vendors
and each time treated them with kindness and
respect. I was very pleased with the entire
service from ordering to installation and will
use The Tire Rack and Platt's for future needs.
07/08 - We use Platt for all our
installations and will continue to do so. Great
service. Very professional. Very effective link
with Tire Rack. We order the tires and pick our
installer. Platt gets an email from Tire Rack
and calls us to make the appointment.
07/08 - Ed Platt not only did a great job
installing the tires, he recommended them by
comparing them to the ones I was originally
going to buy.
06/08 - Platts Ed were Awesome.
Everything just as promised no surprises. Great
service to go along with great Tire Rack value
in the purchase of our new BMW tires. Cudos to
Ed and the team!

Honesty and integrity is their
motto and you can tell this is
true by all the long term
customers and the top of the
line cars that are serviced
here. Customers from other local
repair shops have turned to
Platt's to fix what the others
could not. If cheap is what you
are looking for go somewhere
else but if QUALITY is what you
are looking for you are in the
right place!! And, come to their
car care aware events and car
shows bi-annually to see what
I'm talking about!!

I was told I needed brakes
by the dealer. It wasn't true. Platt's is a very honest
shop. I hear this from the other customers in the waiting
room also. No more dealer for me! ...

Ed Platt is the best!
When you have a car problem that no one else can fix,
(intermittent included) this is the place to go. He is
happy to talk to with you, answer all your questions and
do what is necessary to insure that you are
completely satisfied and that the problem never returns.
If you are looking just for a bargain price, I suggest
that you try somewhere else.

This place is top of the line and uses only
first grade products I have never had any problems and have had
my car serviced from Ed for many many years! I would recommend
Platt's Performance Plus to anyone!! Dina L
We take 2 cars to
Platt's for routine maintenance. The
guys there do a great job on everything
from regular oil changes to new tires
(Ed will tell you where to buy them at
discount, they get delivered to Ed, and
Ed does the mounting/balancing).
These guys are also good for the 'not so
routine' stuff. They have done
transmission replacement and power
window repair jobs for us too. Ed stands
by his work as a real straight shooter.
Good mechanics are hard to find but now
you know... Ed's shop is great.
